Listen to the Podcast Not playing? Click here. Lichen is joined by a panel of five women who talk about why they love to read M/M fiction. Besides finding gay romance really hot, they talk about how they enjoy the angst of gay relationships, the emotions of two men who are being vulnerable with each other, and the various not-so-great moments as well, like three men on horseback who might also be shape-shifters. Visit our blog, GSC Casting Notes, for a list of all the books mentioned during this podcast. |

Excellent discussion. Will spend some time contemplating the possibilities of three men on a horse, shape-shifting to a gallop, with the necessary parts finding pay dirt, so to speak. Thank you for this, and will continue to wonder at the fact that approximately 80% of M/M readers are women.

A very enjoyable discussion. As a newbie to the M/M fiction genre it was fantastic to hear the views of other women who enjoy similar interests and to feel part of a wider community. Well done!

How sad it made me to hear what the women said about historical fiction. There has been so very much done so beautifully by so many authors. And there is the issue that fiction is often the only history the GLBT community has. Please, I beg you, read historical fiction.. check the reviews and see what's said about the research h. I know spend more time researching that writing... you might be pleasantly surprised.
